Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center (SCSC)

MHAST was awarded a grant from the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) & NYS Office of Addiction Services And Supports (OASAS) to develop and operate a Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center. The center will serve an 8-county region and provide 24/7/365 support to individuals of any age experiencing a crisis.

The SCSC will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), Certified Peer Specialists and other trained professionals. Individualized crisis interventions, connection to community resources, and referrals to treatment services will be part of the services provided to individuals during their visit.
