Beacon Drop-In Center

The Beacon Center will be closing as of December 30, 2018. We aplogize for any inconvenience. We will continue to offer weekend support and services through our Sunrise Wellness Center.

As we prepare for the New Year, please be advised that MHAST has made the decision to modify our weekend programming and support services. The Beacon Drop-In Center, located at the Fairview United Methodist Church, 254 Robinson St., will be closing on December 30th. Starting in January 2019, MHAST will continue to provide more structured weekend support from 10am -2pm through the Sunrise Wellness Center. We will be offering a modified version of services that will be more inclusive and beneficial to the population we serve. For the month of January, as we make this transition, activities and support services will be provided at MHAST, located at 47 Broad Ave. Following the transition, we will provide varying support and activities at varying places in the community. Beginning in February, the location and information for the weekend support, activities and events can be found on the Sunrise Wellness Center monthly calendar and newsletter. We will also provide individuals with information on other weekend resources that are available in the community. We appreciate your patience and support during this transition. We want to make this change as smooth as possible and are asking that you share this information with any individuals you might be working with who could benefit from more structured weekend support.
